Some representatives from the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) Peace office – Buea including Ngalle Nelson; National Programme Officer PCC Peace Office and Keng Juliette; Peace Officer North West Region, have paid an official working visit to COMINSUD head office to discuss and forge better ways of partnership for peace works.

During the meeting, COMINSUD Coordinator Fon Nsoh, proposed partnership lines centered around holding meetings to lunch peace strategies. Together, the PCC-Peace Office and COMINSUD intend to touch and propose to the Local, Regional and National offices of the PCC with better strategies on how to reach and impact a wider community towards peace building at the local levels.
Given that the church is a vital impactful body from where various groups of persons can be reached, the CIMINSUD/PCC tandem hope to make use of pro-peace actors within the church for the benefit of their communities. This; it is expected will go a long way to create the desired impact of building peaceful societies across the embittered North West and South West Regions.
Both parties have engaged to facilitate the signing of an MOU which will aid in birthing forth new ways of addressing the issues related to the crisis. This will equally serve as an opportunity to actualize fruitful thinking towards achieving a just and peaceful society.

Amongst other things discussed, they look forward to:
- Put together actions towards addressing regional divide,
- Put in place an active monitoring framework for civilian protection and peace building actions,
- Create peace content for radio programmes,
- Organize actions for peace amongst schools, communities around schools and to a larger extent, the community.
