As part of the ongoing Civil Peace Service (CPS) Project, COMINSUD brought together youth leaders, community stakeholders, and peace actors in Bafut Subdivision in The North West Region of Cameroon, to strengthen their commitment to reducing violence among young people.

Participants reflected on the realities of conflict affecting youths and shared practical strategies on how peace education can serve as a sustainable tool to transform attitudes, behaviors, and relationships. The workshop emphasized the role of youth leadership, peer influence, and community collaboration in promoting tolerance, dialogue, and non-violent conflict resolution.

Stakeholders pledged to support youth-led peace initiatives and reinforce community structures that safeguard young people from violence while creating safe and inclusive spaces for growth.

This activity is part of CPS efforts to empower young people as champions of peace across the North West Region of Cameroon and beyond.
